By 1876, a new champagne maker in Russia was having his own Cristal made at the Perrier-Jouët factory. This champagne was for the exclusive use of Tsar Alexander II and became known as Cristal.

The Cuvée Rosé vintage is made in a contemporary style with the slightest hint of sweetness and a persistent mousse. Twenty to thirty crus are selected for this subtle blend, including wine from the most recent harvest. His interventionist policy will be strengthened by an edict of July 1718 on the marking and transport of wines.
